Frequently Asked Questions

What does CST feel like?

CST is very relaxing and enjoyable to receive. It is a “hands on” modality that is lighter touch than a massage. The whole body decreases in muscle tension and improved alignment of structures occurs, leaving the to body feel calmer and more organized. Patients typically report decreased pain and increased well-being following a treatment.

How do payments and insurance options work at The Body's Wisdom?

Services at The Body’s Wisdom are self-pay and payment is due at the time of treatment. The Body’s Wisdom accepts cash, check, all major credit cards, and HSA cards. Services provided by The Body’s Wisdom do not typically follow a “short-term rehabilitation approach.” Therefore, our services may not qualify for insurance reimbursement because of specific insurance requirements. Since we are non-participating with insurance, under very limited circumstances, a patient may be able to submit for direct reimbursement from the insurance carrier.

Is there a cancellation fee?

A credit card will be held on file for the first visit, but will not be charged unless the patient fails to show. For all subsequent “no shows and/or cancellations” without 48 hours notice, you may be charged the cost of the visit. This will ensure that all patients can receive appointments in a timely manner.
